    summize crash in 3, 2, 1....... sorry couldnt resist. But seriously I think it was a good pickup by twitter as I really like the summize service.

    plus they moved the 5 developers to CA to work for twitter,so that is good too.

    Seriously? Doesn't Twitter have something better to spend their money on, like getting Twitter scalable and stable? Let Summize do it's thing so you don't have to spend money on it then once you have the more important things taken care of, purchase them. I think this was not a smart move for Twitter at this time. In the long wrong, brilliant move.

    If you're after IM and Tracking in near realtime, and you've still got some API limit left (about 20), then use the spy.net twitterspy@jabber.org bot - it uses Summize/Twitter to feed you near reatime tweets from your friends, tracks and summize searches.

    Tracking 449 topics for 119 users at present, and a really great service, pending the ral full flow IM from twitter again.
